I sure had a good time visiting with  you David and thanks for coming down.

Jimmy, you take care and get well.  My boy leaves to go back on Active Duty in a few weeks and I hope he gets assigned to the 101st.  I was tellin him about you and he's started reading my copy of your book.  He told me it was neat I met another solder who was a country as I was.  :)

Thanks guys.  I feel like someone shot me through the neck with one of Jesse's flint heads and they tried to patch it up this morning.  Doc said it would be a rough first few days - he wasn't kidding.  Percocet ain't touching this.

Pat I've been itching to write more but playing with these videos. I'll have another video out today about Barebow Legends of the NFAA.  It covers Denny Cline and Cay McManus.  They are good people.  Cay will be at the IBO shooting in July.  I think you will like the video.  Ole Joe - Cay's husband, is on the video and he is a hoot.  He wants to make a bow while at IBO so they plan to roll in on Wed in their camper.  All total we'll have 6 in that crew from VA who love to shoot and want to learn to make a bow.

Jimmy, hope you're sending arrows downrange soon!

Missed out on a good weekend looks like at Twin Oaks. Made a trip down with my girlfriend to Savannah, Georgia to visit her mother. Had a good time...beautiful city with huge oaks with limbs spread out such that it's like you're driving through a natural tunnel of oaks.

Jimmy.  I hope you wish for you a full recovery.  Do what the Dr.'s say and things will come together.  Who knows, maybe they found you another 15-20 points on the ranges 8) ;)

Hi Greg
Did you make it down to river street?
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Man, I love live oak trees! they are my favorite tree and they make great deer stands.
I started my leather work career on River Street, Ronnie. That was before and during the rebuilding of it back in the early 70s.

Was that 1870's or 1970's?

1970s was long ago enough, Jon. Don't make me older than I already am!  :D   What were you doing in the early 70's?  ;)

How early in the 70's?  I joined the army in 76, but prior to that I was a young lad attending school in St Cloud, Florida.   8)

Ronnie, we first drove on it bumping along on the cobble stones looking for a parking spot. Ended up parking in a parking garage and walking back down. We may have spent a couple of hours there...was hoping to see a ship come in, but didn't. Definitely need to plan another trip some time and not spend quite as much time visiting family. ;)
