I'll be down there as soon as I get off work ;) I wanna try and finish up my fencepost bow and maybe get that yewsage shootin as well.  ::) also need to rack a hide this weekend... Gonna be busy  :)

We also need to get the boy scout bows finished and in the Cabin. ;) :) Ant been to cold the last few day Eddie,in the high 50's low 60's.Nice for this time of year. :)

Love to have you Eddie. It was a good weekend. Got a lot of Bow work done and also a lot of fire wood cut,man we go through some wood. ;) ;D ;D Also 1 hide racked,planned on 2 but ran out of time,ther is never enough of that. :o I got some new arrows,they are poc and I have had them ordered for over a year,great shafts and I think worth the wait. ;) :) Will shooting in his new fence post bow. I got hold of some brass pins out of a truck rearend   we plan on using it for some of our knife work. Me flipping the tips on my Hickory bow in the works and Jon working on some string nocks,I think this may be his trade bow. :-\
Hope yall had a good one also. :)

Tips finished on Will's Post bow and me and him short shooting it in.Shoots very nice. :) Gary showed up from KY. to work on a nasty piece of Osage,it went nice and I think he learned a lot over the weekend. :)

My Hickory getting heat treated and after. Will's Yew/Osage on the form .An Anvil of sorts Will made for us to use on our knife work.Thanks Will. Jon IW after heat treating,looking good so far. ;) :)

One of my trade bow candidates. ;) ;D Chuck's Hickory at first brace.Looking good so far,may turn out a little under weight. Will's Yew/O off the form and Gary cutting in some nocks and getting ready to long string tiller,we got it floor tillered Friday evening and on the form. :) Sweet pea shows up for a visit and to help wood cutting,man that girl is growing. ;) :)

Fun and some visiting around the fire ,then some wood cutting Saturday,we started out on what was left from the Hickory we cut last spring for staves ,then moved on to some very large Red Oak that went down in a wind storm,When we get it split and hauled out it should do us for a year or more. :)

More wood cutting . Allen and grand daughter showed up to do some shooting,man that girl can shoot. Gary shooting in his new Osage,it turned out great ,especially for such a challenging piece of wood.  :)

Full draw for Gary. Mine and GregB's 2nd candidate for Trade bow,sister splits on some really nice 04 Osage. Very clean and straight. Shooting in Will's Boo backed bow.Doing really good so far. ;) :)
