Picture above Jon gifted me a dozen very nice cain arrows,thanks Jon. Chuck working on his trade bow and me trying it out,also ringing on one of the hides I am tanning. Josh putting the finishing touches on his Yew bow and Brandon working on the handle and final tiller of his Hickory. :) :)

Smoking and stretching hides and a lot of watching and shooting the bull. Art our Token Yank shows up for the day.GregB putting the final touches on his Trade bow,turned out beautiful as we have all come to expect from him. ;) :) Chuck with the tips flipped on his trade bow and ready for finish work. :) :) I told these boys they need to get with it,it will be August soon.  ;) ;D ;D ;D Brandon doing some more grip work while his Dad looks on. :)

Will stretching and drying his hide,it turned out nice and soft. Josh into something,you just never know about him. :-\ :o ??? Me getting ready to clean some bee's wax GregB and David ,Brandon's dad brought me. :) :)

Bee's wax after cleaning,I think I have enough for all the pine pitch I have,should make a bunch of glue. David doing some fly tieing and Sally just relaxing after another long day. :)

Yep Charlie, I always add a little parfin to keep the natural wax from getting hard. ;) :) :) 2 hides almost dry,it was a long day Monday stretching and I am sore today from it. ;) :) 1 Mullberry cut out and another laid out and ready to cut. :)
Never worked with Mullberry,they say it make a good bow so we will see. ;) :)

Josh showed up Monday to work on a Black walnut bow,looking good so far and me putting the final stretching and drying on 1 of my hides.That's it for the weekend,hope yall had a good one,looks like they did in MI. for sure. :) :)

Looks like another great weekend at Twin Oaks, Pappy.  We missed you here in MI but, still had a great weekend.  The weather cooperated with us though it was a bit chilly at night, dipping in the 30's.  You may have gotten cold in the knapsack.  :o You southern boys aren't used to them kinda temps.  :laugh:

Ya I am thinking she is going to be big,I think the dad was a lab  :-\ so far very laid back,prefect for me,just the way I like um. ;) :) Guy wished I could have made it also,just really hard for me to get away it seems,always something. :) Steve wished you could be there also,how about Bear,I haven't heard form him or seen him on lately ????
