Ya Bob, it will look better when I remove all the orange flagging. ;) :) :) Got a box in the mail last evening, all the way from Wyoming, thanks Joe, a pair of very nice Buff horns, he knows just what I like. ;) He said in the letter he hoped he wasn't helping feed my new addiction. :)

Had a great afternoon yesterday at the farm, still have a few things left to do to get ready for the weekend but took some time and finished the tips on my trade bow and tillered it out to 52@25 looking for 50@26 so I decided to just shoot it some and go from there, it shoots great with the RD and pretty Sharp flipped tips it has some great early draw weight/stable and pretty fast. If all goes well over the next few days shooting I should be able to finish it up next week. Michael and Megan came down for a few minutes and she ask, Pappy what are you doing, I said just piddling, she said do you every get lonely down here when you are by yourself , I just grinned and said NO. ;) :)

Must be that piddling, comes with age.  I am the same way.  In general, I'm usually puttzing with something.  Never get lonely, while piddling on something.  As we get older it seems that time to ourselves, is good therapy.

Two weeks from Friday and I'll be down to keep you company Pappy.  Really looking forward to it.  Being at Twin Oaks is good for the soul.  I've sat by the fire pit
a time or two by myself and wasn't lonely.  Love that place.  I'll be talking to you before I come down to make sure we're covered on what projects you got for me.   Gotta pay the rent you know.

Good luck Eddie. Debbie's brother and I went out last Saturday and heard a few.  We still have to wait till the 27th of April before ours opens.  I'm going to hunt
that morning and then head to Twin Oaks.  Post pictures.

Ya good luck Eddie with Kevin, I can tell you for sure he will hunt hard. :) Still seeing a bunch around my place just hope they stick around for a few more weeks. ;) :) I need to clean out my freezer, I have not finished up processing all the wings from last year yet. I think I have 30 or 40 pair. May wait till Matt get to the Classic, we done up a bunch the early part of the week of the Classic year before last and it works faster and better with several hands and of course I share. ;) :)

My experience with Twin Oaks is limited to 2 brief visits to the Classic and what I read on these pages.  ...but the little snippet I quoted above sums up what feels GREAT about the place to me!  ...and it don't just apply to turkey wings, but everything that happens there.
