Congratulations Pappy.  You've earned a good retirement after 36 years.

I'll bet its nice to make it official, hey Mark?  Good for you and well deserved after 36 years.  Looking forward to seeing the Twin Oaks updates and their progress throughout this spring.

Pappy:  Count downs are a welcome event in a working man's life.  Happy birthday to your lady!  One thing about retirement you will often wonder how you had time to work?  I bet you will find the new sleep and clock schedule will be hard to adjust to!  Was wondering two things, are you interested in an engraving tool and I would like to start a campaign to get Hawk Huston and his side kick Red Hawk to attend this year's classic.  They are the two best walk and stalk bow hunters I know.  Hawk is working in Nebraska and its only a one day drive.  Indian Joe

Congratulations Mark, and a big happy Birthday hug for Miss Joannie. I'm jealouse, and don't think I'm far behind you on retiring. I'm on another big sinkhole like the one last year that kept me from the Classic. If I get locked in for a year like the last one, I'm done, except consulting. ;)

Wow
TN deer opener 2017 will start with bang. Freedom and a bow in yer grip. Congrats. Look forward to seeing you soon. Woulda been down but its like I am up a day, down a day now. Saving what I got to hunt in a week in GA. Hogs need killing, not I need to be dragging em but so be it.

Need some cold now to kill some more dogs. Hope ya can reduce the tree rat population to a workable number.

Hey Pappy gave me your gift today between the squirrel hunt and working on the kitchen.

Thank you!

I owe you a glass of my homemade mead when I see you at the classic.

I am up for that Joe, you might bring it up in the camp fire section. Great weekend, my youth didn't kill a deer but it wasn't because he didn't see any, seem his aim may have been a little off. ;) :) Our annual squirrel hunt was the best yet, 46 tree rats in all with 3 of the guys with the 10 limit. Will and GregB ties with 10 squirrels 9 head shots and Hunter Collingsworth was second with 10 and 8 head shots. Freezer is full now and we plan on cooking them probably at the Classic. ;) :) I got some work done on some of my horns over the weekend and we also got the kitchen project ready to start putting back together, waiting now on Home Depo to deliver the supplies for framing and the concrete guy to do his thing later this week. Hope to start building back this coming weekend. Here are a few pictures of the fun. My girls and Pistol horn in the works. :)

The kitchen tear out started Saturday morning. Little John is our newest member and I am his sponsor, he is working out well and always ready to help.  ;) We may just keep him around a while. ;)

More burning. Will showed up with his limit, then all that was in the hunt jumped in to clean them up. 46 is a lot to clean but these guys made short work of it. ;)
