They really wear them out this time of year. :) Had a friend that gifted me some snakes fro AR. Got them all squared away and Allen showed up to do some shooting and bow work. :)

Got my Tractor wheels swapped, it sure made it more stable. Melting lead for shot for Little John's blunder buster. :) Garrett show up to work on a couple of Yew bows and Little John made a pouch for his shot. :)

The shot making didn't go all that well, we had a bad learning curve on that. I put some over lays on Garrett's Yew bow and Will cut the second one out for him. Sister just kicked back for an evening nap. :)

Looks like a great weekend pappy! The Osage is looking good! That blunder bust looks like a blast.  :-M
I managed to get some bow work done this weekend myself,  finished tillering out an Osage bow for the auction table at mojam.  And some much needed organizing of some of my supplies.
Stay hydrated this week looks like it will be a warm one.

Looks much more relaxed around Twin Oaks then a couple months back. Glad to see a little more laid back Pappy.
It's finally heating up around here. Had a surprise birthday party for my dad yesterday. 80 years old now. It went great and he was completely surprised. Hope he's got some more good ones yet.

Pappy

Skins look good to me. I will be down 1:30-2:00 on Wed.

I have that Price, Pappy, Shawn bow about ready for weight tree. Looks kinda goofy to me with so much of riser being non-bending. It does spit an arrow purdy well though.

That blunderbuss throws a perfectly respectable pattern for a 20ga smoothbore short barrel and it's my new Turkey gun.

That is an excellent gun for repelling boarders.  :OK

Over at the ML Forum a guy tried and odd ball load of putting a 1/2" lubed fiber wad over the shot after the normal thin over shot card. Instead of blowing the pattern like one would think it tightened it up.

I tried the same load in my 12ga and got a slightly better pattern, next I tried two 1/8" well greased hard cards and my pattern looked like a  swarm of bees at 25 yards. My turkey load is now 90gr of 1F,3 thin over shot cards, 1 1/2" of #6 shot, a thin over shot card and 2, 1/8" hard cards. I get consistent heavy patterns every time.
