Angelus Mortis - Latin for: Angel of Death  Evil

Well guys I finally got her done...the some of you said would never shoot.  She took some time but was well worth the wait!  Osage, backed with 3 layers of leg sinew and western diamond back skins.  My first attempt at recurves, my first attempt at sinew and my first attempt at snakeskins.  The grip is hemp cord and I used true oil on the whole thing.  The tip overlays are also osage.  She is 56" tip to tip and 54" nock to nock, strung she is 50" tip to tip.  She pulls 50lbs @ 25" and flings an arrow with authority!  I gave her Angelus Mortis as a name because I hope she brings an honorable death to a lot of God's creatures.  This has by far been the most annoying, punishing yet rewarding bows I've made!  Hope you guys enjoy!  Grin Grin

Looks pretty good to me. As I recall, I told you you could do it if you took your time. Looks like you did.  Grin

Most excellent! A short, powerful recurve Evil certainly gets my attention. Bookmarked, too!

Very nice, especially for a bunch of "firsts".   Very nice bow with some wicked recurves.  Job well done.
