Sythian Style Boo backed Boo (Deceased)

 This one was inspired by James Parker's Horse bow that won Lam. BOY  As you might recall I posted that my wife said "I want one like that"  Somehow I knew this was going to be a daunting task. I had hoped to have it ready for Valentines day. However I ended up redoing the tips three times to arrive with this. 
 So here is LuLyns new bow. She is 52" tip to tip Boo Backed Boo belly with mountain mahogany static recurves. The handle section is Fiddle back maple with a paddock accent stripe. I've only done a half dozen laminates and never one like this so there were several first time events. Here is the list, First Sythian style laminate, first freehand accent stripe handle, first static re-curves, First centering string groves on the curves, First Boo backed Boo, First time using a rubber band form for glue up, First string  ;D
 LuLyn still hasn't shot it, so hopefully tomarrow we will get some full draw pics. I have not put it on the scale since the last tip change so stats will follow

The handle section was such nice grain I couldn't get myself to cover it up so this was my compromise I still may need to insert a rest but going to see how see dose off the hand first.

That is jaw droppingly beautiful--I really like how you let the grain on the handle show.
