Marble-wood Limb Tips anyone tried this wood ?

I am still gathering "things" to finish my Ipe/Bamboo R/D Bow David Knight built for me. While awaiting some wood strips for limb tips I found some Marble-wood in a Wood Craft store, it's beautiful wood. I am thinking of doing my limb tips with this, has anyone ever worked with this wood ??

It is a very hard wood that should work for tips very well. It takes a really nice golden shine when finished and if you can get some tightly figured pieces, the brown/gold contrast is really striking.
