 I finally got a chance to beat on some rock. These are wind down, relieve stress points in the afternoon when I got home from work. I got back from Brazil and walked into a mess at the office. But these came out pretty good.

 Thanks, Justin. Dana, sure did feel good. When I left I had about 300# of rock in the back of my truck. Everytime I saw all ya'lls points I couldn't wait to beat on some. All of these were heat treated and chipping was easy. That first one is fluted on both sides, but I blew the flute out the top. so I made it to shoot on an arrow. The neck knife cord is braided Bayonet plant fibre. The middle point is some nice Coral.

Never heard of bayonet plant. I haven't had much time for knapping, with the nice weather I've been at the land I hunt doing my share of work
so I can keep hunting there :) Its my bosses property but he's never there, 200 acres with 1000's of acres of State and Paper Mill land all around it :)
I have the run of it, for the last couple weeks the wife and I have been cutting firewood, brushing the roads and hauling trash out of the woods.

 Dana, I'ts called a Century plant, also. I just found out yesterday my hunting lease is going up next year. Not sure if I'll be able to afford it.

Nice lookin points , I really like the looks of that coral. I tryed relieve n some stress  today an broke 3 in a row an gave up for today, I had 3 really thin ones so I was pleased with that but broke 2 of them from hitting in the base area an got end snap >:( I know better than to beat on the base when they get thin but had to renforce lesson an did it twice :'( Later Bob

  I've got plenty of nose-less points laying around from that, Bob. I blew the brown one off fluting. Best fluting I've ever done.

Nice points Eddie. I need someone to show me how to set up the platform correctly. Hopefully I can talk someone into that at the classic. Sorry to hear you had return to problems at work, that always ruins your day.
