thin
« on: May 13, 2010, 11:11:04 pm »
Ever since I got back from Tenn. I've been on a thinning "kick". I've got a few now, too thin. I have to think about what to do with them. Here's a simple little stemmed point I finished up this afternoon.

I like 'em thin!  But sometimes you can get 'em too thin and loose all your convexity.
That blue rock sure is hard to stop hitting ain't it!

Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Yes it is, that's the problem I'm having. I have to go after that last, little, hump. I didn't show the bottom, it took a dive in one spot. Lost that convexity. ::)

Nice one Eddie.  The real reason he didn't show the other side, is because there isn't one! :o  He got it so thin that there is only one side to it !! ::) ;D ;D ;D

 It's too big for an arrow, it's 2 1/2"x 1 5/8" wide. See if I can find a Mastodon ;D

that looks good Eddie, I wish I could dig one up that thin. I know you have ofund points before that were made from a flake with only one side worked.

Yea, Jeff. I've found them like that and curved. That point has both sides worked the other side is ugly.
