Fire pit
Eric Krewson:
When we landscaped our yard we put out 2700yds of sod. Because Glenda and I like to sit around a fire I incorporated this fire pit in the plan. It is outside my shop so all my scrap wood ends up in it as well as a lot of stuff we pick up in the yard. The landscape blocks are from Lowe's.
Pappy:
Very nice,a little fancier than mine. ;) ;D
Pappy
cracker:
Pappy I wonder how many jugs have been passed around that one.
El Destructo:
Them Wall Stones from Lowes are just made of Cement....better be careful...they will blow up like some stones do....throwing schrapnel everywhere....seen it happen.....
As for the Jugs.....I bet there have been hundreds...... >:D
Eric Krewson:
My fire pit has been in place for 9 years and had bunches of fires built in it. When I burn scrap the fires often reach huge bonfire status, no problems with the block exploding. I suspect the block has been kiln dried by all the fires and is very stable now.
