Cayuga Indian Bow-Hickory

Here is a Cayuga Indian Bow that I just finished for my wife. It is called "Kissing-Fish". It is based off the the bow illustrated on 52 of Encyclopedia of native American Bows, Arrows and Quivers (Allely/Hamm)

Hickory with a tempered belly.

Good looking bow (and bow owner... ) We made one like that for a Community bow project a few years ago, and I was surprised how well it shot, it's a good design. Nice work!

Nice Bow.  It appears those are working tips at full draw.  That's pretty cool.  I tried making one with working tips a couple of years ago but a pin knot wouldn't allow one side to hold.  I imagine it gives a good flip to those limbs and arrow.
