Flight tracks right??

I thought it would lighten the spine. Pat, my draw is 25" and the arrow is 33". I take it as JW said, shorten it up.
mullet:
Like JW said, you have plenty to work with.
Orkraider:
that sure sounds like a whole lot of arrow for a 25" draw. You got huuuuuuge amounts of room. =)
Pat B:
You are drawing 25"(+5#) and your arrows are 30"(-10#) so your arrow is shooting like a 5#lighter spine than the arrow actually is. Increasing the tip weight makes that spine even less. By cutting one inch at a time off(or even 1/2" to fine tune) you should be able to zero in on good flight. Figure out what tip weight you will be using because that is critical. Arrows spine is figured with a 125 gr head on a 28" shaft.

Thanks everyone for your fine guidance. I thought that was the way to go. but I wasn't completely sure, I've got a lot to learn and too much trouble with retention!! (blame it on age, LOL). I wanted to switch to trade points this season and I found these at 3 Rivers Archery. I really like them and plan to hunt them this fall. Well, it's off to shorten the arrow. Thanks again to all.
