Gary's backwards Osage bow.

A good friend of mine and a lot of you know Gary Davis finished this and gave it to me at the IBO world.Him and I started 2 of these a few months back out of a small Osage split down the middle
and used the inside for the back and the bark side for the belly.They both have 2 layers of sinew.
It is 50@28 66 n-n.  We wanted them both to be the same weight just a little different Style in finish work. We plan on raffling them as a pair at the Classic next year.If I get mine done. ;) :)

A full draw and a picture of the pair ,so far. Hope you like it,Gary has been so much help to me overt the years ,and also helped countless people learn the art of bow building.  :) Wished he would get on the net. ??? :)

Beautiful, classic design. And I'm not usually a fan of the snake skin backed bows, but this goes on the 'good list'! The special tips are a nice touch.

great work,and between you and Gary the imfo that ya'll give at the classic I wish I could have just follow both of ya'll around recording but I would not have finished the bow that I have.Two great bows keep it up and thanks to all of ya'll at the tn classic.

 Thanks for posting Gary's bow! I did not get to see it finished as I did not make it down to Cloverdale shoot this year ! I dont get to see Gary  much the last couple of years but shure do think of him alot ! hope to see him in 2 weeks at the GLLI !

Coupla hot sisters, man.  Would be nice to have the difficulty of having to chose which one to take and which one to leave behind!!!

I have thought of doing an inside out bow (bark side in, heart side out) with backing, wondering what advantages/disadvantages it may have.   Any observations on this bow acting any differently being inside out?
