I was asking about the eye... the loop at the top of the wood that the brade goes through. Is it made of the same material as the braid or is some sore of metal eye?

Its the same material as the braid is made.... :)

very cool. i might have to finally do something with all the claws i have and my arrowhead. akila have you ever made arrowheads from antler? if so i take it you have to carefully select a big enough piece to avoid the pith right?
