Other than the sheer mass of the beams and tines, and the incredible tine count, that's not much of a deer.

No, I'm not jealous, not jealous at all.  Quite to the contrary, I am tearing my hair out because I've always secretly wanted to be bald.

What's her address?  She needs a handicap...like one of my bows!!!  And Christmas is coming.

Seriously, though...I can tell by that grin that she has completely forgotten the 7 year dry spell.  I would be willing to bet she doesn't mind them at all with that handsome devil she's pictured with.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I'm on the 6th year of my dry spell right now to start out my bowhunting career, and I'd gladly go dry this year if I get to shoot something like that next year! Heck, I'd be happy just to see one of those walking around in the same woods I hunt, even if I don't get a shot. We have OK deer here in VA, have yet to see one that size.
Is there anything better than wandering the earth with a stick and string in your hand?

Wow, look at that one!  Where in Illinois was it taken.  I used to see some absolute monsters when I lived around the Fox River/NW Suburbs of Chicago.

ifn i was her i would get that thing measured for POPE & YOUNG

i watched the museum caretaker measure one last year for a young guy
he made the book(barely)and his wasn't near that big

if she wants she can send me the rack and I'll personally take it to the museum here in Chatfiled Mn
and have the proprietor measure it up  ;)
