legal beautiful Pheasant feather photos
Justin Snyder:
Yes, that is the bird that the last couple of photos belong to, but I was referring to the first two pictures. The first ones have a browner tone and resemble Reeves pheasant wing feathers. The second looks like they are probably Silver pheasant. I am quite sure they aren't the few species that are protected in the USA, but without knowing what variety of pheasant I wouldn't suggest you try shipping them to the USA.
Josh:
those sure are some pretty birds. :)
JW_Halverson:
Phasianus colchicus.
South Dakota State Bird....only state in the Union that shotguns it's state symbol! a.k.a. stubble duck, ditch duck, technicolor grouse, South Dakota Grasshopper Control Board, or common ring-necked pheasant.
Justin Snyder:
Josh, the Reeves is my favorite, it's tail gets to over 5 feet long. I have raised Lady Amherst, Red Golden, Yellow Golden, Silver, common and jumbo Ringneck, Impian, Blue Eared, and Peacock pheasant. Here is a picture of a Peacock Pheasant.
