Need Sinew

Hi my primitive brothers I'm in need of some sinew for a bow I have about 90% done.  I want to back it as I may have violated the rings also to insure it won't break.  I have arrows, flint, staves, or I can rough out a bow for u.. if u need something else please ask.  I can easily buy it off the internet but am trying to give opportunity to make a good trade.  Let me know ASAP...

Enough to back this bow its 60" but are going to cut it down... want at least 2 layers.  what do u need?

I have lots of sinew, would love some flint or some arrow shafts.  I have mule deer and elk sinew. some is processed and some is not.

I have'nt ever sinew backed a bow so I don't know how much it takes. I equate sinew amount in how many deer leg sinews it would take to do the job.
 What kinda wood staves do you have ?  '  Frank

Hi Frank sorry for not getting back to you!  I think Id need about 10 to be safe!  I want at least 2 layers.  yeah thinking 10 hanks.. I have ash, maple, hickory, ironwood, locust...I have a few more down there.  I live in Ny so we dont have yew or Osage sorry!  LMK

I have whitetail back sinew, which works better for backing bows than leg sinew in my opinion because it yields longer fibers.  I'd be interested in a stave as trade.  I can provide an ounce of sinew right now, which should be enough to back your bow with a couple layers.  I'll get more sinew tomorrow, and once it's dry I'll be able to provide two or three ounces.  If you're interested, email me at minimalystic@gmail.com or PM me.

Im definatley interesed in the sinew if its flint shafts or staves I think I need around 10 hanks to be safe not sure what the weight is I will be able to meet the requirements for a few of u so please let me know

It you still need sinew I have lots, but it is not pounded.  I have both backstrap and the 4 leg hanks from a buck I shot last Saturday that should be almost dry.  In addition I have a lot of both types in the shop from previous years.  I hope to get more sinew this weekend, I think a couple of us will be at the lease starting tomorrow afternoon.  Since it's rifle season the odds are better that I'll come home with more tendons/sinew.  I would trade for arrows or shafting.
