nocking point

I know that a crimp-on string nock is not terribly primitive, but with a dacron string that horse has already left the barn.  I'm planning to try shooting 3-under.  I assume that means the nock should go over the arrow?

Dale:
Yes.  Don't sweat the dacron string and crimp nock.  I do the same thing.

mullet:
A crimp-on nock point! Oh my! :o If you want to be primitive you could use dental floss built up with super glue. ;)

Hillbilly:
I also use a dacron string and metal crimp-on nock point on most of my bows. After crimping it with the little fancy nock pliers, I whack it a couple times between two rocks to make it more primitive :)
