first, it snows on christmas day here in abbeville, sc, 4" worth.  it was a nice touch for the kids to have a white christmas, but it hasn't snowed on christmas day here since 1963.  now, i'm sitting here looking at 4" with snow still falling and more coming.  this is the heart of dixie, what's up with all this snow?!?  must be global warming.

Hi Mech we had snow on the 26th of December and we're getting ice today that's the most in maybe 10 or 15 years for here. I guess it is the global warming.Ron ;D

Tell you what Chris, it must be a widespread conspiracy, because we are getting it here too. Some snow, mostly ice, and if we don't lose power today I'll be surprised. In the photo of my back fence the ice has pulled the bushes to the ground, and the pines are heavy laden. The sound of snapping wood is filling the forest this morning.

Stoker:
12" of blowing snow ,highways closed.Kids in town still gotta go to school >:D.
But this is Canada another day in paradise.

Chris, you need to swap houses with me one winter-we've had nearly three feet total so far in the last month, and it's still snowing hard right now. And it was -2 here yesterday morning.
