Sparrow:
I had some of my best hunts for small game, in the snow, when I was a kid in South Carolina. Back in the early seventies. Quail,rabbits,squirrels,tracking coons to the den tree.
 A turkey truck turned over and there were white turkeys running all over the place for a couple of days. (We ate turkey for months). Go Hunting  '  Frank

pic of backyard.  guess i won't be teaching school this week.  the state was looking for a way to cut some days off the calender, mother nature obliged.

We got and are getting another inch with a little sleet with it. Hopefully it will fizzle out before the ice comes.
  I just got back from a walk in the woods with Lucy Brown. Not a track in sight until we came through. In some spots I bet the snow in 10" deep out in the woods. Sure is pretty!  8)
