58" Mulberry with copperheads
« on: June 08, 2011, 02:23:31 am »
Hey all,

Just finished this one, thanks for taking a look.

Mulberry Stave. 58" (56"ntn). 43#@28". Bow weighs only 12 ounces (I think I may be in love with mulberry). Backed with copperheads with the fades wrapped by gator scraps to hide an ugly spot in one of the skins. Flinging my bamboo arrows with 150g tips a respectable 150fps (not incredible, but respectable).

Enjoy,

Mike

That's a heck of a bend there. Nicely done. Does it slightly bend in the handle? The bow is def maxed out n being pushed to the limits. I always like seeing that   ;D

Another great bow Mike!  That one bends right through the middle just like the one you sent me (still shooting the snot out of it and loving it!!!)

As everyone else mentioned, tiller rocks and the skins/gator really set off the bow nicely.  I've heard Mulberry makes a nice bow...have to find that out for myself someday.  Thanks for sharing~
