Hmm, shears - yet another item my wife'll have to find for me on e-bay
. Like that cardboard idea Eddie - think I'll be giviner a try. What do you guys like for width on each feather, is it around a half inch at the widest point?

probably 5/8th at the point . if its noisy ill cut it down a bit more.
