Good Shooting or Bad Luck?

I just got this set of 5 four fletched arrows out the other day and have been keeping pretty good patterns w/ them on the target.  This morning I started shooting them at the 3D deer and kept 4 outta 5 in the kill zone the first two rounds, on the third round all 5 were in the kill zone, but one of them I Robin Hooded.  Hate to see it go, but I may be putting broadheads on these in October.  That is if I have any left.  8)

Sounds like you are zeroed in!  One shot groups will eliminate these kind of things!!!  ;)

Lol I did the same thing the other day. I was joyous to get my first robin hood that was actually in the kill zone, but sad to see my arrow go. Nice shooting.

Take a step or two to the left (or right) between shots - this makes the approach angle of each arrow slightly different.

     I would say, it was a combination there of.   ;)  Sort of mixed emotions, like seeing your mother 'n law drive off a cliff in your brand new Lexus. ::) ;D ;D

Nice shooting I say.

Like Pat said, one shot groups. Put stickers on the target in different places and shoot one arrow in each. Stepping to the side doesn't work. You hit the edge of a shaft and the next time you shoot it, it explodes.

I usually only shoot three arrow @ a time, I found this set of 5 and started shootin' em.  They shot good, I got excited, I shot @ the 3D and got more excited.  Shot too many times.  I tried the step to the side long ago and Justine's right, I broke several that way, way more arrow area  in the flight zone.  To be honest, it's my fault and I really don't consider it a true Robin Hood if it's my own arrow that gets it.  It needs to be yours.  >:D  Sorry just had to say that.  ;D
