help with heat???
« on: August 26, 2011, 11:20:09 pm »
Hi all, im working on an osage takedown I got some cool looking billits from stoneburg I got them in the handles and had to do some serious heat bending on the top limb to get it in line. Im going to cut in the string tonight the question I have is do I have to heat the lower to keep a similar temper or do I go ahead and tiller as is??? I may have to heat it to align the string but if I don't have to will I be ok?     Thanks again George for the billits!!! Hope to have pics soon.

                                          Thanks, t.soy

I don't heat the other limb. You're going take off more wood as you tiller. Hope you get a great bow!  ;D

Thanks George so far it looks awsome im very happy, it has turns, bends, kracks, and cool colors.now if I don't bust it in the tillering process it will be something that I look forward to share with you and everybody here! If it dose break it will give me a good lesson. so no heat it is
