got a little further along, got her at full brace and then at 22", at about 36# at 22" so i should come in right around my draw weight, Bub

well i was shooting it in and herd a crack, it happened on the clean limb without the knot, gonna superglue and clamp, then sand her all down and wrap the affected area then soak in ca glue. guess we'll see what happens, Bub

I'm hardly an authority on tillering, but I agree with gun doc.  Looks to me like the limbs are not doing much work from about halfway out to the tips.  If you manage to save it, I'd get that portion bending a bit more to avoid stressing the inner limbs.

actually after Bevan drew the eliptical on the one pic i did remove quite a bit from the outer third as i worked it out to 26", just to bring the tip's around with the eliptical, also looked good with the gizzmo, but sometimes s#%t happens, we'll see what comes of it, it's just like knapping, it aint a point till it's done and it aint a bow till it's finished, Bub

I was just curious how the limbs would compare now, after your last full draw pic.  Looks like the limb with the knot is about perfect.  The left limb in the pic is a tiny bit stiff (now I'm just being picky! ;) )towards the tip (red circle), which probably stressed that limb a bit where the red arrow is.  Just out of curiosity, is that around where it cracked?

Cam, if your asking if it cracked in the vicinity of the arrow the answer is no, the crack happened around 9" from the tip which puts it inside the circle that you drew, i was really still short drawing it' hadn't even started to stretch it out yet, i'm a little curious as to why this happened myself, Bub
