She's gonna work all the way out to about 4" from the tips. I figure she'll take on set mid limb and I'll probably give the belly a little toasting.

 Ain't quite decided on what I'll do to dress her up but I'm sure it will come to me. Maybe some skins or maybe a nice stain job with a little cambium left on the back for a nice little camo effect.

Here's mine! :'( It was shooting sooo sweet. I had just got through shooting it for 45 minutes. Then I thought I'd check the weight, It was holding 54# at 28", then since my guy said he shoots 28-30" I thought I'd pull it an inch more ::). I'm still kicking myself It was bamboo backed Argentine Osage with rawhide. It sure made a loud noise ;D.

Here's a glimps of someones bow. Its been a month so tonight I got the courage to string her up. I didnt pull it to full draw just yet.
Though shes had a couple hundred shots so far. Before the backings.
This has really pushed me and so far so good :laugh:

    I've broken a lot of bows but never almost straight across like that. Mind, I've never made a trilam either. Would that break come from centre lam failure?

I bet that was loud Eddie...and it didn't break at a node. I'm surprised it was well in the internode.
 A bow fully drawn is 9/10th broken!  Been there, done that!  ;)

Yea, Pat, I shouldn't have pushed the envelope. It was telling me it didn't want to go there. There was a hint of an old knot right in that spot of the osage.
