Scott, looking good an that looks like some tuff material, Pa, man you nailed it with the glass one, IN my mind that is just what a Lost Lake should look like 8). I'm almost afraid to post mine, came out ok , but I had a differnt look in my head,just couldn't get out of there  :o Here is mine made out of a pc of Kentucky stone. Bob

Finally had the patience to sit down. Horse creek, stalled notches, signature steps/stacks ;D.

Thanks guys. That was my first successful attempt and first time trying beveling. Cowboy I love the look of the Horse creek stone. It makes me want to go collecting more rock to see if I can find anything like that out here.

Since it rained too hard to go hunting, I actually went out to the shop and broke up some perfectly good rock today trying to get a candidate for point of the month.  Not to be though, I completely blew one corner off notching so I shortened it a little and made a stemmed point.  I should have known better than to try corner notching after such a long layoff.  It doesn't belong in this thread, but since I at least tried...

Hey George good to see you here, have missed seeing you around :). MT I have found a lot of cool rocks here in tx but that hc only comes from tn and southern ky I think. Wish it was around, I'd be hounding 8).
