The Blue Meanie - Rawhide backed Mulberry
« on: June 20, 2012, 05:52:59 pm »
My love of mulberry continues as this bow weighs next to nothing but is still pulling 50#@29". The snake skin on top of the rawhide is Black Racer I received in trade from Criverville and is gorgeous (gonna need to hit him up for some more somehow). Anyway, the bow is 55" t2t, just under 54" n2n and really puts the arrows out there. The color is "pthallo blue", which I thought looked better with the black racer skins than the natural wood color. Enjoy

Dude! I love this bow.  Great bend, nice skins and great name.  "Yeah, I'm taking the Blue Meanie for a walk in woods."  I dig it.

Mike, that's a hot looking little bow!! I can't believe how well the skin looks. That blue almost looks like Maya blue.

Very nice job and great pics too.

Bend looks good...looks like your stacking there

Can ya show an unbraced straight on shot of the side view profile please? And where did your profile start? And how much did you lose? Just curious to know how much real set it took with such a high stacked draw? Sorry for so many questions

You definitely get all the bend out of em!  Very nice finish work.  Josh
