I wouldn't mind trying a decent cigar if someone has an extra.

Hey Matt, what kind of B & M do you like?

Clint, I'm liking just the regular or the B & M Mild.  The apple and others, don't do much for me.  Just like my black coffee.  No foo-foo.

Gus, I'll have my Stave Master and some tools there and you are welcomed to use them. As long as non-participants in the Selfbow Challenge don't get in the way of participants everything is OK!  ;)
Matt, like I always said...smoke um if you got um.   You too, JW.
Clint, I'll have one for you.

Fine Tequila and some Oliva V's will be coming with me...

And my trade bow in the works...
Thinking the feller I'm building for wouldn't mind some Classic Who-Doo in his bow...

What's the ruling on someone accidentally working on their own trade bow?
Not saying I'd seek them out, but it is a curiosity.
Or should I keep a tarp on hand to hurriedly cover the stave and start whistling as they walk by?

 >:D

Gus ...just don't tell them who its for n your making it for yourself ;) if you can keep it a secret then go for it ;)

25 days till my first Classic! Getting there early to lend a hand and get a jump start on absorbing as much info as possible. I have a ton of questions. Many people have helped me on here, but I am a "hands on" kinda learner (and slow learner). I need help on tillering, handle wrapping, finishes, layout and design, meeting weight, arrow making, and flint knapping. Ha! That about covers the whole spectrum, huh? Oh yeah, I need to work on my shooting skills as well. You veterans will be ready to through me in the creek by the time this is over!

I'm about 99% I'm going to make it. It will be my first classic as well. Probably get there on Wednesday and stay till Saturday.

I won't be able to bring much in the way of staves or stuff like that, but I am ready to help out as much as needed :)

I was looking forward to meeting you guys but it has changed to a 50/50 chance of making it :'( Work is crazy. If I do not make this one I will DEFINITELY make one of those Michigan shoots.

Cool news duck and Paul!

Paul Im at almost all the Michigan shoots. Im easy to spot, tall, fat beer gut, ugly and with a self bow in my hands or near by most often!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

See you there buddy!
