More Deep Notching Fun!!!

Well I knocked another one out today. It's from some more of that killer KY Sonora  :o I decided I'd try to go a little deeper than I normally go. That's what makes this style of point so much fun to me! I think the ancient knappers probably felt the same way, maybe they even took bets on how far they could go or when it would break. Maybe the winner got the biggest piece of liver or heart as they sat around the fire... I don't know but I sure did have fun with this one :) it's 4" long over 2" wide with 1 1/2" notches. Hunts with stone- Yeah I punch those baby's in with a welding rod :) as long as you keep your platform below center you are golden... I clean them up with a horseshoe nail notcher. Once they get over an inch or so I swap to my Big horseshoe nail notcher, it's got a nail for clydsdales.

That is seriously too deep.  i think you should just stick to shallower notches til the rest of us catch up.  Great job.
