can't wait to get started.  I'm working on quite a few right now.....  in my mind.   Just can't decide what to build.....guess the research will help....but at the end of the day I'm going to build what feels right and probably something challenging...
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Well, I too am chompin' at the bit!  Had a good day working on bows with my buddy Juan.  He's in the TG Swap.  We chased a few rings on some Bois d'ark and almost finished a bow he's been working on.  Traded him 2 green elm and Mulberry staves for for 2 bois d'arks that are ready to roll.  Got plan a and plan b.  Both really dense staves.  Waiting for a name..........

Wow josh i realy like that built in sight window on that erc stave.  :)

I picked up acouple of ash wheelbarrow handles at lowes today for a plan C. One is a as close to perfect bias grain that ive ever saw. The other is plain sawn almost entirely along a single ring think i will only have to chase down two rings ta get a perfect stave out of it.

K,I'm stoked!finally figured how to post pics and have some good wood waiting for me down south!special thx's to all the pa guys that help me from going wacky with a 35 on/10 off shift. In the northern canadian bush,love the posts and stories ,thx's again ..bobbyjoe.

Got one floor tillered this weekend and ready for the form,GregB and I also picked out a log and got a nice clean straight piece each out of it [sisters] depending on who I get and what they like to shoot on which one I will use.  ;) ;D Waiting on a name. ???
