Thank You Fellas...

It's my best Bow to Date.
There are a lot of firsts in it for me.
It is quite an understatement for me to say, "It was hard to turn loose of...".

But the Feller it's going to knows how to build a Bow.
I'm hoping it ain't too far below his standards...

Tracking says its moved beyond Texarkana...
On its way to Extreme Northern Arkansas...   >:D

Gus that has to be one of the sweetest looking bow I have seen lately.  It all ties together so well.  Excellent job.

You did that stave justice Gus. I like seeing my staves turn into works of art and not burning materials! Good job.

I received my trade bow today from JW Halverson...AWESOME! Thanks JW..I will get picks up as soon as possible-Hammertime

And you are covered in case a tip breaks off....I already sent you a spare!  I noticed you always tend to really dress your bows up fancy, so I went to the opposite end of the spectrum and left her pretty plain.  Sheer orneryness if you wanna think of it that way, or unwillingness to compete with you on fancy-work!

I just got my trade bow from Marty (Old timber bows) and I'm very pleased. He called me last week to give me the tracking number and I've been excited to get it this whole week. It's a rattler backed osage 60# @28" with horn overlays. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks, Marty! It's great!  :)

Ok I got 2 coats of true oil over the corn snakes skins. So I should be able to get 2 more on tomorrow. I will also get a new string twisted up, and if all goes well get some leather thinned for the grip. all that should go on by Friday and Keeping my finger crossed in the mail on Saturday.

Hi all
Got a call from my brother that there was a package there at his house that arrived a few days ago.  I had posted an update address for our new house but it must have been missed.  He'll have to ship it out to me so I just wanted to let the fellow who made the bow know why I haven't said anything yet
