As with any wood working project, "the devil is in the details!" I have to remind myself why I do this in the first place to maintain the proper focus on the finish work. I am constantly trying to improve in this area. Good to know I'm not alone.

Like others I use a scraper to remove tool marks then 80grt  then 120 then Tru-Oil with 0000steel wool between coats.
