Nice bow. I like the combination of snake skin and bamboo. I think I must  build a take down bow soon. :-)

That is a beauty very well done as usual.. I remember you were having troubles with bamboo backs failing a while back.  Did you figure out what was causing them?  I just have up on bamboo backs because I could never nail down what the problem was.  I have bbo bows that were made for freinds in Texas that are 5 and 6 years old and still going strong and some bows built at the same time blew up after 100 or 500 or so shots no rhyme or reason that I could see.  I would sure be interested in what ever you found out!

Thank you Bowman. Take down bows are kind of a pain to make, but they are sure nice once they are done.

Chris. I had all manner of problems with my bamboo backs a few years ago. I ended up junking my collection of slats on the theory that it was the bamboo and not anything I was doing. This winter I bought a new bunch of bamboo and so far I'm 3 and 0 and keeping my fingers crossed!

Man your bows are ridiculous.  They are all truly an inspiration to anyone interested in the craft.  I used to build custom guitars and it is nice to see someone so passionate about the work they do. I love to see anything custom. :)
