First fletch job ever

Matt G. hooked me up with a box of feathers, and this is what I whipped out within 20 minutes of bringing them inside.



I need to get a process down.  I think it will work, but I was too exhausted to really think.  Tied with b50, no gluel

Looks good....... But i think the other side of the feathers are supposed to be facing out.

Nice first................turtle has heard some of us on here making comments that turning the feathers back side out makes the feather lay on the shaft a little better.  I really like "two fletch" using tail feathers as you did.  There real quiet.......I just happen to shoot some today at a Trad shoot that some of the boys on PA went to. 
Again, real nice arrow.  I use a real fine silk thread sold in fly tieing shops.  But that not really necessary, any real fine strong thread will work.
