« on: November 05, 2013, 12:33:22 pm »
Haven't seen anything by him lately and his bows were one of the first I saw on here and really struck a chord for me. Just wondering.
Where ya at man?

I tried PM'ing him sometime early spring and I never did get a reply back from him.  I was asking him the same thing. I love that guys bows! It's like he just dropped off the earth.

Yeah, I always get a little worried about that guy when he doesn't show up for a while. He mentioned one time that it was illegal to be doing what he does in his country.  I haven't seen him on the other  site either.

Man, can't people just catch a break. Illegal to make bows? From trees? Trees that grow everywhere? Man...
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

in light of the recent war ,I believe the gov't  just classed them all as" weapons". Lots of places in this world where the people in power don't even need an excuse to do what they want. Lets just be grateful that we live in a place where we still have these privileges. I'll see if he's on the other site. I know he has a friend or two that also hang out there sometimes. Maybe he's just up at his cabin .

I'm pretty sure it's Serbia, but I wouldn't want to offend if it's Croatia. Not an expert on such. I put the question over on PP. We'll see what we can find.

People take internet access for granted....they would do well to remember we live in a very fragile world now. 1st world countries won't be that way for ever....or even very long
Best wishes Druid.

He's got himself a snazzy web site. I'm sure he's just been busy building.

There's a couple of what looks like news videos . Must be O.K for him to make bows. I'm sure that in a post he said that was  not legal . That was likely a couple of years ago.

Glad it seems he is allright. Still hope to see a new bow from him soon. They are allways awesome. Kinda cool that people on here are aware when others haven't been on for a while. For a bunch of folks I never met, you guys are the best.

Yeah, he's certainly a cool dude.
His bows have inspired me to try a couple of heavy weight Yew stick bows.
I got a couple of skinny Yew branches from a church yard last year... I could hardly believe it when I cut 'em. Wafer thin sapwood and blood red heart wood ;D. Tons of knots, just right for a 'Druid Special'  ;D

Wish I spoke the language. It looks like some good  interviews he has on his site.
