Turkey Beards?
« on: February 04, 2014, 03:09:19 pm »
I bet this is gonna be a tuffy. My buddy was wondering what it would take to trade four turkey beards? I told him I'd put it up here.

So...anybody interested in trading four turkey beards and what would you want.

Also need BLACK horse tail hair, preferably pulled out not cut, a bunch about the size of a nickle.

He's working on a pre-contact native  head dress.

Thanks for any ideas, dpgratz

Yea PD it is the same fella. That's what I'm afraid of, I already told him it would be tuff to get beards.

How about the BLACK horse hair?

He's making a really cool head dress with deer hair. I'll try to get a pic of it if he'll let me. Sometimes he's kinda secretive about his stuff. He gave me a small English flint point to give you, but I told him you needed something hunt worthy. Have to wait til it warms up some. I haven't forgot about you Chris.

Turkey beards is one thing but pulled horse tail increases the risk. That might be one angry horse to deal with. What could be traded for turkey beards?

Not sure what he has to trade. Not for me. When he calls me back I'll try to find out. Got a PM about beards on ebay. I may go that route. Thanks for the reply ncl. I was thinking the same thing about the horse.  :o

I have lots of horse tail hair.  Red, black, grey, and I think one other color.  PM me.  We might make something work.

I've got turkey beards I'll trade. Beards aren't trophys to me, but you can't have my "hooks".

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
