Yeah i feel a lil stupid on that one. don know how i missed that:)

waterlogged:
Lol, don't worry about it carpenter... I spent about two hours making it and an hour second-guessing it.

Dana, I'll post a complete picture as soon as I can, and thanks for moving this to the buildalong section... I completely forgot we had one!

BigWapiti:
WL, this is great - I made one today - a very quick prototype anyway, just to check it out.  Ah, the simple things in life!  The way it should be.

I'll be making a nicer wall hanger this week after work hours.  Thanks for sharing - I've been needing this!  -Mike

PK:
good Morning,I made your version of the spine tester last night and foung that my cedar shafts arrows are spined for a 60 to 70 pound, they are 30" from nok to Point. tried scraping the shafts down , seems to work ok exept I don't know what the Point wieght should be for a 50 to 50 pound spine @ 30", may have to put new point on or just grind them down, good to be resourceful.

bigwapiti: glad you like it, when all made up, thing really seem to flow together and everything works.

PK: I had several suprises with some of my arrows, including a few of the arrows that I had marked as best shooting had a big difference from their actual weight. There are a lot of factors concerning spine, and a lot of them can't be put into a chart, which is why its useful to 'calibrate' the spine tester by rotating the spine chart a bit to fit the arrows that shoot best.
