Tru Flight Feathers?
« on: January 03, 2008, 05:17:41 pm »
I was just wondering if Tru Flight Feathers were real feathers or a maufactured product.  If they are fake, how are they made?  Does anybody here use them?

Thanks!

I use them all the time. They are real turkey feathers.

That makes me feel a lot better about using them.

I have made several fletchings myself, and I enjoy making my own equipment from scratch, but I go through a lot of arrows.  If I always made everything from scratch, I would never have the time to experiment.

Thanks!

They're usually from turkey farms- so they're like cow leather. And I have no problems with a nice leatehr handle grip :).
