He is still nocturnal.  Looks like he is getting a thicker neck.  It won't be long

That's a nice looking buck!  big healthy body on him.  Looks like a 3.5 yr old.  Wow nice deer to have so close to where you live.

I just checked my trail cam....the date is wrong, I'm going to have to fix it the next time out .  I'm finally, after recovering from a torn quad, going to be hunting this area a lot in the next three weeks.  I would love to stick one of these this year.   only problem is, I have not got a daytime pic of either one.  Just some doe and a small eight.  I've been hunting this area for about 15 years, three years ago we did some timber cutting, and the last two years has been the best hunting I seen in a long time.

Nice looking bucks Bill.  I'm not getting any daytime buck pictures either.  Give it a couple of weeks and that should change.  Glad to hear your leg is healing.  Good luck this fall.

I grabbed the card out of the trail cam on my way out of the woods tonight.  I got a few good pictures.

This buck is starting up the scrape that is under the cedar tree each year.  Its the first time this buck has shown up on camera.

The big buck had to see who is in his yard

The bobcat made another appearance

These two don't belong to anybody I know.  This is the second time I have got pictures of them.  I caught the hound in my yard a while back.  It has a collar but no information on it.

I am really loving these photos, folks.  The variety of critters getting snapped is pretty cool, too.  Yeah, horns are the main event, but the other stuff is nice, too!

I finally set a game cam out on a nice spot.  First night out and I got a 3x3 sniffing the lense!

Couple does at various times thru the day, all of them seem to want to sniff the cam.  I even got a photo of a wheelie bow walking by while looking into the lense.  Glad I put a cable lock on the camera!
