thanks again guys. the one problem i have with the unheated texas is step fractures, not big ones, but small ones. problem is if you dont take care of them they get get big. although sometimes its easier to get them off when they are bigger. that and i break a lot of obsidian after working the texas. i drove a flake through the leather pad into my hand after having been working on the texas. thanks again
