I just did a crooked one not to long ago. I used a short straight edge to check the limb. It really shows a little bend well.

I've often wondered about putting a chalk board behind the tree. You could trace the shape as it progressed. Other than holding the bow drawn while I was tracing it I thought it would work. Anybody done this?

as you are able to draw it further ,, it will tell you more,, but as stated you are on the right track,, bet it shoots great,,
