Stave Bow Build (pt. 1,2,3) completed
« on: December 11, 2014, 12:07:02 am »
I'm working on a series of videos that show how I build my bows.  This will be a 3 part series and I just released the first one.  It should answer some questions for the beginners.  So the first one will be about harvesting and preparing to season.  The next will be about splitting and bringing your stave down to a bow.  The third will be about tillering and shooting.  Let me know what you guys think!

Great video Tim! I have been on this forum for a while, but have only just started my own bows. I cut a Vine Maple stave over Thanksgiving break, and I am just waiting for it to dry before I finish roughing it out. I can't wait for your third video, and hopefully even more to come!

Tim I love your videos and just watched the first one... I had to rewind it something crazy happened part way through?!?! What happened to your hair?! New job, a woman?  I'll watch the next video in hopes it returns?
Just teasing you a little buddy, Jim

Wow thanks guys!  Your encouragement really means a lot!  Part 3 will take a little longer as there are still some shots I need to take.
