I have Staves!
« on: January 05, 2015, 09:31:30 am »
I have a bunch (~25) osage staves and a few HHB staves, all have been stored in my garage. These are NOT premium staves, very tight growth rings but some are not too bad and you could always back them. The problem is that I am just out of room in my small shop and these need to go ASAP. So if you are in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, i'd be willing to trade osage staves for cool archery, primitive or outdoor stuff, axes, tomohawks, knives, etc let me know, thanks, Dan.

You should get lots of replies on this one.  They look good.  :)

I would trade but I'm cleaning out my shop too.

There is a Tri Cities in Eastern Tennessee.  Does that count? :P  I'd like to get a HHB stave, but I guess I'm outta range.  Good looking stash though!

I can't drive, but I'd be willing to pay shipping costs along with any trade idea we can come up with. If you're open to this send me a PM and we can talk details.

You just tell me when and I am on my way. I dont need the hhb though. If you need it gone too I will take it and just ship it for cost of shipping only to whoever wants it.

Not a problem. He already told me some terms and I agreed just waiting on the finishing details.

If you drive up I-35, I wouldn't mind driving over from Kirksville, MO to meet you on your return trip - I would like to get some HHB.

Ok, we will look to do that. Probably going to be this weekend, and may be dark when I pass through.

Well, if it's too dark I guess the worst case would be that I get osage accidentally...I'm willing to take the chance!

I have a great badger fur hat I was planning on posting to look for an Osage stave.  I don't know if they are all spoken for already or if that would interest you.  Also I will be in St. Paul the next 3 days for work.  I live just a little south in Wabasha.  I know badgers and gophers don't necessarily get along but it is a nice hat and warm too. If interested, let me know.

Thanks,

Mike

I would be interested in a stave or two.  I live in Duluth  Every other weekend I could stop by.  My mom lives near savage.  It would give me a good reason to visit her.  Let me know please.  I'm sure we can work something out.
