Truck all loaded and heading out at 3AM for two long days of driving.  Not looking forward to the drive thru the big cities but too much time to go around!  I hate having to miss the early fun!  Joe

You guy's are killing me! 10 more hours of work and getting the last bit of gear squared away. Then we will be headed that way Thursday morning about 10am.  That is if I can get everything done by then. Patrick

I wish I was there already but work commitments are keeping me from coming up until Friday evening  :-\ .  Guess I 'l have to stay up late and get up early to make up for lost time.

I'm sure there will be plenty of staves floating around, but I wil be bring some osage staves and black locust for sale or trade in case anyone needs one.

Hope everyone has a safe drive up and I'll see you all Friday night!!!

need a little help, I plan on joining in on the pot luck dinner sat. night how do we reheat like if I bring a crock pot can it be hooked up or will I need to reheat by camp fire. planning a big pot of chili .

Rover, your best bet is to reheat it by the fire.  It will add to the flavor! They do have some (limited) power in the concessions area, and the bow building area.  But there isn't a lot of space to put it while its plugged in.  The club will be able to help more with it once you get there.

t -7 hours, and counting.

Well everything is ready to load in the morning except the food. That will have to get packed in the morning. If everything goes well we should be on the road about 10 or 11 tops. Watch out classic, here we come! Patrick

Matt & Heather,
My house is filled with the aroma of Moose simmering with onions, tomatoes, vinegar, cinnamon , nutmeg and plethora of other spices. It's the same dish I cooked last year over the fire, but i'm taking the easy road this year.

It will be ready for the pot luck Saturday, and I'll bring a camp stove to heat it up on.  I will also bring rice to make up that day, unless you think there will be some already made up.

I'm counting down the hours!!  see you all soon!

Sure wish I was going to make it.  The mrs. and I are gearing up to start building our house.  Not the best year for hobbies.  We are getting the well drilled next week.  I hope it doesn't get past 400 feet.
