Turkey roaster?

Has anybody ever tweaked their turkey roaster to get higher temps?

I had one go haywire & would shoot up to 750 degrees on the 200 setting.   I blew up 3 loads before I figured out what was happening.

That incident is what started the idea.

I didn't tweak mine, but it originally had max dial temp of 500. With the tray out the corners get well above 600 if you want them too though.
