Snakey Osage Recurve
« on: June 27, 2015, 04:01:07 pm »
Here is a bow I just finished up. It is an Osage recurve with black walnut tip overlays and western diamond back skins.

The stave was a gift from my uncle. It had very nice rings with lots of red in it. It came out a little light at 43#@ 26" but it shoots really nice. Gonna do lots of hunting with it.

You did a nice job on that snakey osage hunting bow. I hope to see your picture on here this fall with a deer or turkey laying next to that bow. :)  43# and a well place arrow will get the job done.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
