Great to read the replies.
I by no means posted this thread to make light of abo
type knapping or those that pursue it. I am glad that you all get it.
It may seem we are getting over run by abo info and
folks that have convinced themselves that abo is the only way.
I know most of the posters and I am aware of their passions
for close to thirty years.
They are one awesome fraturnity/ soroity.They are totally admirable and
generous as I can imagine intelligent, avant garde folks to be.
I never even considered that a rift or divide in the way one comes
to the completion of a point would be in question.
As I bopper they even save me a handicap parking space at the knap-ins.
LOL just joshin.  They never make distinction (except in jest) about the way
one enjoys the hobby. They embrace and share freely their talents, material,
land use, ideas and most of all their friendships.
I have no doubt that if any of this seems to be a problem it is only in the distinction of the definition of knapping and not the folks that make that distinction.

I could post names but I think events would be better
as I don't really like to be to personal without folks permission.
My first experiences were with the publisher of The Indian Artifact Mag
 and here locally (Page Co) VA  Fort Liscomb where there was a big
influence from Oregon Ridge MD. Also House Mt  knap-in and Schiele NC.
I would include you too Iowa even though I don't know if I know you
personally? lol Your posts are good enough for me.

And I think that the only folks that may be accused of taking a shot
at others were completely in jest. Other posters did not know this
as they didn't know those folks knew each other and do that kind
of thing all the time. I don't see any bad bones here just some minor missunderstandings. I sure hope so anyway.
